ABOUT US
Creating Meaningful Impact
NAV 7s was founded in 2019 by Robert Bortins and JK Anderson. Both individuals have had rugby roots within the Carolinas, but it was their likeminded passion and dedication with a goal to provide avenues for athletes to compete at the highest level, showcase their talents among top competition, and contribute to their rugby development which is what led to the creation of NAV 7s.
An environment that is built on the values of TRUST, RESPECT, FAMILY, and FUN

Over the past few years NAV has grown into one of the Top 7s Programs in the United States. NAV is nationally ranked, most recently winning the 2022 National Championship. We take pride in developing players from various teams and colleges across the country. Our program is designed to provide opportunity pathways in which we have seen athletes move on to play in the MLR, PR 7s, International Selects, and representing the USA Rugby 7s National Team.

In Loving Memory
Sean Christopher Riley 1991-2021
Sean was a staple in our NAV 7s program during our inaugural season and the building of our NAVFam culture. Sean's high energy, infectious smile, and vibrant dance moves, combined with his electrifying speed, talent, and gameday socks will forever be embedded in the hearts of those he took the pitch with.
NAV 7s continues to honor Sean with every tournament by wearing socks of either vibrant colors, cartoon figures, funny sayings, or anything that screams "Sean would rock these".
"Always remembered and never forgotten"
