As NAV 7s continues to grow into one of the top 7s programs in the United States with a continued vision by management to provide athletes an opportunity to develop and compete at the highest levels, NAV 7s will be creating the Emerging Talent U23 program.
As we continue to want to provide a pathway for athletes within the ages of 18-23 years old to be seen or work with current athletes in the USA 7s pathway to provide additional opportunities for game experience and development, we hope for this program to well received while in addition creating a pathway into our own senior squad and summer residency program.
The Emerging Talent U23 program will take part in their first tournament on April 7-8, 2023, in Tampa, Florida at Tropical 7s.
Our Coaching Staff will consist of current NAV 7s senior side & PR 7s coaches JK Anderson & Emil Walton, while adding the addition of former Olympian and USA 7s Rugby player Garrett Bender.
